Advanced Beginner (ages 6+)

Class Description

Ready for the next step? Our Advanced Beginner class is designed for dancers who have completed at least one year of Beginner-level classes or have teacher approval to move forward. In this year-long program, students take their skills to the next level with exciting new material like the reel, slip jig, and introductory hard shoe steps. With a strong focus on technique, teamwork, and tradition, dancers continue to build confidence and develop a solid foundation for future growth. It’s the perfect class for those ready to be challenged, inspired, and fall even more in love with Irish dance! 🌟 Prerequisite: Completion of Beginner Level (1+ year experience) 🌟 Shoes Required: Soft shoes + hard shoes 🌟 Material Covered: Reel, light jig, basic slip jig, and hard shoe basics 🏅 Competitive Level: Optional – dancers may begin competing at the Beginner level 📅 Class Term: September 2025 – June 2026 New students can join at any time!
